The Independent is a locally owned dining and cocktail lounge located in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis. We are on the second floor of Calhoun Square Mall, overlooking the corner of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue.
The Independent offers a fun and casual atmosphere where city dwellers and city lovers from all over come to mingle, drink and dine, celebrate and relax.
We are known for hosting Uptown's MOST GENEROUS HAPPY HOUR daily from 3p to 7p, our value priced Sunday brunch buffet and for offering an extensive American-Eclectic food menu daily until 2am!
